I don't think it's all that bad. We shall see what it looks like once the wraps come off.

So this might be a preview of the '17? I think I like the 14 FR-S the best of all of them.

Probably to soon to know but what model year would this be for? Planning on buying a brz the end of next summer, so the 2017 model. I like the looks of it now and hope this wont be for 2017 :/

Hard to tell.... but it's such a minor update & it looked like line around the bumper got busier which is not good for sports car in my book.

But apperently 86/frs headlight will be more like brz ones.

Quote from Moto Miwa on facebook
Quote:
The new FRS/86 will also have turn-signals inside or near the height of the headlight.

Its because the low position of the current headlights bars some countries from staying legal when lowered, as that puts minimum height of signal marker/ turn signals too low to be legal (including Japan).

Well more specifically, the laws itself is not too critical to them, as no police officer will stop them for marker being too low. However, some motorsports events like AJGC, and others in other parts of the world, needs cars specifically street legal for regulations in participation. Japan gynkhana runs all BRZ right now, because FRS is not regulation compatible because of this reason. They wanted to change that. smile emoticon

Do not like body lines of new front bumper. The new tail lights look like they're taking on the design shapes of Valenti. Very curious to see if they end up going with a LED bar style tail light like the Valenti now.

Great! It looks worse than the current generation. Nice work. Now all they need to do is keep the 200hp output and it pretty much guarantees they won't sell any!

you know, if you look at the original post on a computer and scroll down fast with the Page Down button, it looks like the car is taking the corner fast in the wet!

Edit: someone make a Gif out of this. quickly, before the Admin removes the photos!

They better fit my 2014 model! Hope new model hits 210 hp. Wing is meh, but front bumper caught my eye. Wish theyd do something like bump torque and mpg. 2.2 liter would be sexy with lower CR. The GT X or GTS.
