Off topic but kinda on topic iv been playing the beta for The Crew and it is amazing. It's no sim but the map is huge and the graphics/gameplay is great.

Me too. I wouldn't say it's amazing, but it's good. I may buy it, we'll see.. Depends on if everything else is keeping me away at the time. The cars feel pretty floaty to me, like old Tokyo Extreme Racer floaty but with a bit less drift to them. But yeah there's a ton of space to explore. The overall gameplay is pretty good, but I'm disappointed by the graphics. And I know it's beta, so I hope they fix the texture flickering issue I've been experiencing.

Been waiting on a racing sim for the PS4! Looked over the track list and doesn't seem to have a ton on there, but enough. Gonna have to research more..

I loaded it up and tried to until I realized my G27 doesn't work on the PS4. I tried to go back to a controller but, f**K it. Was a bit annoyed at how much had to load on the console instead of reading off the disc. The first 9min of the playing, only the quick race mode with 1 car was availiable until it finished installing.

Holy shit really?! That sucks man. I can play Forza with the sticks but Project Cars has wheel written all over it. Might be worth seeing if something like the CronusMax could adapt the wheel over.

It is sony only allowing ps4 specific wheels. Thrustmaster is it until the logitech g29 is released. Not spending the money again though.

This was known, unfortunately. The PS4 interface protocol changed enough that legacy steering wheels are not natively supported unless the name developer writes drivers for the specific game and wheel.

Not happening. Logitech has dropped out of the console accessories market since two years ago. (edit, see below, wrong info - no longer out) Thrustmaster is the way to go if you want a wheel.

I'm enjoying the game, when I can put Destiny aside for a bit. Bit of a chore with the controller at first but I've adapted.

i got cronusmax but havent set up the wheel for xbox one people on youtube have videos on how to set it up
