No just normal mode and only like an hour, maybe hour and a half. We started at the gatekeepers then spent a ton of time dealing with disconnects.

I've jumped ship back to CS:GO (PC Ver.). @53Driver if you or any of the RoR guys want to raid or play PvP send me a XBL message. Otherwise I'm done with the game.

Oh, I've had tons of disconnects too. I put my PS4 in DMZ yesterday and it hasn't happened to me since, but I'm not counting on it. I've been getting a whole lot of crashing to home screen too, especially lately. It's annoying for sure, but I'm not willing to quit the game over it.

Honestly DCs happen in every game. The frustration is just heightened when you're spending hours at a time in a raid. I guess I would say if anything I'm taking a break. I really want this game to succeed so perhaps future content and DLCs may prove me wrong. Until then, I will continue to let Steam and car parts rob my wallet of any extra spending money I have.

Most of us have hit the content wall already, even I'm starting to play Sunset Overdrive.

That being said the DLC will pull me back in for sure. Also still haven't beaten the raid end to end yet. Would really like to accomplish that.

Also did my first Nightfall on Saturday morning, got a Vanguard A1.X... scout rifle that I already had except with way worse perks. A bit anticlimactic since another guy got a Universal Remote.

Will do and sorry to see you go. My days maybe limited too with the Halo MasterChief collection coming out. I'm still on the fence about getting The Dark Below. My understanding is you need all the raid gear to level up to 30 so basically you'll need it all to progress on the expansion? I'm not going to grind the raid anymore, there's enough grinding in this game already. Then with all the bugs/glitches it just becomes a bore/frustration.

Funny, I got more drops out of completing the Nightfall than I did by doing the raid. I started Alien Isolation last night because I actually found myself getting burned out on Destiny.

Yeah, no reason to let yourself get burned out on a game. Once you're not having fun playing anymore it's a sign to quit. I haven't hit that wall yet, but I'm going to try and cut back a bit here fairly soon since my wife wants me to play the WoD WoW expansion with her.

Patience and Time looks really cool.

But I don't think its better than icebreaker by any means :p You just can't beat regenerating ammo.

I bought it just cause it looks cool lol

Can't play the same game exclusively for 10 years, we're bound to go back and forth between a few titles.

I bought the season pass or whatever you got with the $99 digital guardian edition, so i'm in it for at least the next 2 raids.

I have the same problem, every loadout I test without my Icebreaker is just weak in comparison.

It's astounding how often I completely run out of ammo carrying a regular sniper, so much so that I wonder why I even bothered bringing it. Meanwhile I'm sniping trash mobs left and right with my IB and it's always ready to go.

The mulligan weapon upgrade does wonders on top of the regenerating ammo.


To fully utilize Icebreaker, you should be carrying a sniper and shotgun of each type of damage. When you switch to another weapon after allowing IB to fully regenerate ammo, it gives you half of the max ammo capacity of whichever weapon you switch to. This completely eliminates your need for green ammo synthesis.

Yeah I do that in things like nightfall strikes, but honestly 99% of the time I don't have the patience to go menu diving for 12 rounds only to have to go back into the menu 30 seconds later after unloading all the rounds into a boss. Should be easier ways to swap weapons mid-game without pausing.

Yea the D-Pad controls could have been better utilized. I understand all the dancing and random nonsense when you're in the tower, but I don't think I'll ever need to point or wave in a strike, raid, or PvP match.
