Quality backlite keyboard
I finally bought a backlite keyboard and at first loved it, but the keys have become stiff. I have to spell check absolutely everything. Some of my posts are downright embarrassing with the skipped letters.
Any leads at Amazon, New egg, Tiger, or Ebey? I want a medium sized keyboard, not he big old full sized? thanks

What kind of keys do you prefer? Mechanical, scissor, rubber dome? What weight if you're looking at mechanical. Do you want tactile feedback or not?
edit: Nevermind. I reread your post and figure you have no idea what I'm talking about. Here's my suggestion. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16823129019 |

Rubber dome has a rubber membrane which has domes the keys sit on. When you press a key, it bottoms out and the button press is triggered. Over time they get mushy.
Scissors are rubber domes but low travel. Think laptop keyboards. Mechanical are a mechanical switch that actuates before the key bottoms out. When you get used to them typing can be lighter and more accurate. They're also generally rated to about 50 million keystrokes. Then you have a bunch of different types of switches. My preference is MX Brown. Blues are loud and get annoying. Blacks are fine but the added force becomes noticeable if you have to type a lot, or have a long gaming session, and for overall use I prefer tactile feedback to the linear keys. I haven't owned Reds but have tried them. Similar to the MX Brown I have now but without the tactile feedback. |

scissor all the way, i just switched back to a rubber dome from a laptop at work for ergonomic reasons and the extra height on all the buttons is messing me up.

Go blue...
Unless you live with someone else. Buying a keyboard is like buying shoes, you must try it out before you buy it.
