Read what Soundman wrote: "maybe" which means it is not definite. I took the option of maybe not posting a cat pic.

Huntsman spiders are freaking cool and I will always* go out of my way to try to relocate them if I can.

*Well, maybe not always. Pulling down the sunvisor and seeing one of these while driving this made me freak out just a little. Pic in my Pug 206.

Haha... I think it's some stand-up comedian's line. I find it distasteful in this context but I think it wouldn't be so bad if the writer were quoted. I remember it making more sense as part of the routine.

Wasn't it Bill Burr, maybe?

No thank you sir.

Funny story. I’ve told several stories to my wife about how spiders like me, and how they specifically go for me after I go to bed. She always thought I was exaggerating, so she couldn’t help but laugh when a house spider comes crawling between us one night while we were in bed. It came behind the headboard, between our shoulders and then headed right to me. This wasn’t an isolated incident since that night. She believes me now.

Don't forget to post pics of the egg sac nested in your ear.

I had a girlfriend in college who had to go to the ER because she had a spider in her ear that was crawling against her eardrum. After that day, she would always flip out when there was an “ear sized spider” around.

I have an ophthalmoscope and a camera with a scooper, so I’m good

Had a jumping spider jump on me. It wasn't enjoyable, but I'll admit that they can be kinda cute:

If all the ice on the planet melted we would have far worse problems than just sea level rise. Also, the timeline for such a change is likely on the order of centuries at the fastest it could possibly happen. That scenario is a bit outrageous, and distracts attention from far more likely (and moderate) scenarios which we can better plan for. Interesting visualization, but I don't see that being in our future.
