anybody goin full jdm on all parts like hks,hopefully tomei,and kakimoto brands like that for performance parts

The days of JDM being the best parts are long gone. Theres american made parts that are just as good if not better now a days.

Theres a few exceptions here and there but the days of JDM being the end all end all for performance are long gone.

That and JDM tax is meh

I don't think it should be a JDM v USDM issue. We use to be strictly JDM shop but over time plenty of US companies started making great products. While we still carry a lot of Japanese parts we primarily like to recommend the best products for our customers where ever it may be made.

I doubt I'll have many, if any, Japanese branded aftermarket parts on the car. I'm sure there will be a few, but I'm guessing the majority will be from US companies that do a ton of R&D like Nameless, Perrin, etc.

Japan doesn't understand the US market.. I see a small percent going the JDM route. But the majority has the buy now mentality.. which gives all US brand and manufacturers an advantage over the 3 month wait, JDM goods.
