MT Gear Indicator Issue
I was reading through the owners manual (no really, I was ) and I saw the steps to turn on the gear indicator for those with a manual transmission.
According to the book, while the key is turned to ACC, you press ODO until you see g-off. I dont have that menu. I get ODO, Trip A, and Trip B. No gear indicator settings. Has anyone been able to successfully set that up?

Ill give that a try in a bit.
I guess while we're on the subject of the instrument cluster, is there any way to get the tach to do a fast sweep, like in this video: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ki2JA-_Opn4&feature=channel&list=UL"]Subaru BRZ nav startup screen by PERRIN Performance - YouTube[/ame] Mine goes up to where I set the rev warning, pauses, then goes back down.

usually with these things, you don't keep pressing the ODO button repeatedly, they mean for you to press and hold the button down until you see the new setting pop up. but i don't have the car or manual to really know lol
gah sudden posts, now i see the manual above.

But it should come up just by pushing the button through 4 or less cycles, then is when you hold it down. |

Still haven't had a chance to try out what was noted above. Once I do, Ill let you know if it works or not.
I also didnt see the 5 step process in the FR-S owners manual, we may not have the BRZs sweep function
