got some free cabinets and countertops from a house remodel i'm currently working on

was going to install them in the garage and re-do my workbench with the new counter.

but then after still sweating through my shirt, with all the fans on, decided a 90 degree day is probably not a good time for it, so they got stacked in the corner where they'll annoy me until a colder saturday.

WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR HOME TODAY?

Somehow back of the toilet broke somehow & not able to flush…

so went to HD to grab one.

& if you’re wondering, no toilet box does not fit in the BRZ… BUT it does fit in WRX lol

I think our remodeler just installed that same toilet my master back WC. Does that make us "shitter brothers?"

Haha sadly (thankfully?), where it broke was the area where new water comes in & not the old water flushing down the drain. lol

Garage
Today I patched some holes left by the previous owners. Not sure how I missed them all the other times I've had to do this... And I know two pictures are still hiding messes they left because I couldn't repaint without doing the whole thing because no clue what color it was, no leftover paint...
So much shit to fix.

Reached my limit this morning when my espresso machine ran out of water.

Installed a reverse osmosis in my kitchen this afternoon. Previously in my apartment, waste water went down the drain. I drilled through my wall and exited the waste water into my landscape.

Oh, my, I heard you folks had a water shortage down there, but, you don't even have enough water to make coffee? -

As far as dumping the waste water on your property - do you have a septic permit? The California Sewer & Septic police may come after you - Your lawn can be observed from the air and may give you away -

Do you have any idea what the osmosis is reversing. Maybe it's toxic, especially when it is just dumped onto your property without being properly processed? -

not to worry, ol humfrz is just you!

I can’t be making coffee w tap water! I’m trying to create equity over here vis a vis gentrification.

If tap water is good enough for my lawn, the hypertonic water is good enough for some shrubbery.

Hey guys, need some troubleshooting help. Our doorbell stopped working, specifically the chime. The doorbell button works. It's a Nest doorbell, and I'm still getting video as well as notifications. Put the multi-meter to the original transformer, and it read ~17 volts. So I'm guessing it's okay (got a 16V 30vA transformer thinking the original one died). When I put the multi-meter on the chime and had someone press the doorbell button, the voltage only read 1-2 volts. Does that mean the chime is bad?

Maybe - or the wire from the button to the chime is bad/broken.
