It is a little different. It was more evident during the Dragon Trail Mecerdes Time Trial, on flat screen, I was running about a-2 seconds behind my best time on VR. Can't really properly explain it.

With VR on, I feel like I have more control over the car. Braking zones are about the same but accelerator inputs are slightly different. Can't get on the gas as quick on flatscreen vs VR.

On the same token, a record lap on VR really challenges your reflex and response times, where you can tell you've truly pushed the whole way. On flatscreen, you never really get that feeling. Probably because you can't really gauge driving at the limit or close to walls.

I find it a little easier to ride limits on VR rather than flatscreen too.

That is all great to hear! If I could natively use my wheel and pedals with ps5 I would have upgraded from a ps4 a long time ago lol.

Anyway thanks for the post most of the fast people seem to use flat screens but I think that's because they stream.... At least that's what I tell myself lol

Im so pissed lol. I try again tomorrow once I figure out what is going on.
Maybe I'll mention..

I'm on PS4, not sure what PS5 controllers are like exactly. I use T300RS wheel with modded Logitech G27 pedals but I leave a controller on when I play and use it to do everything other than drive.

A few months back I was having this intermittent issue where the brake would be stuck slightly applied. I took the pedals apart to blow out the sensors (a huge pain) multiple times over the course of a few months.

Meanwhile, it was being caused by the trigger on the controller slightly pressing while the controller sat on the table beside me watch out for that if applicable.

Alright, initial try. 3 laps in each car. Couldn't quite figure out the Camaro handling in only 3 laps tho.

Ha! Was doing just the same now lol. I actually don’t mind the camaro too much. Handles pretty good, just haven’t really quite nailed the brake markers enough to fully push. Amazing how close it can get to a GT.3 car.

I can’t believe how stable it is given how some road cars feel in the game.

I did find on the GT300 you really need to short shift it. I must have crashed the GT300 car 50 times though

Yeah, I was getting more seat time with non-AWD cars since I'm participating in Wolf's races, so I thought I'd apply that throttle control with the Camaro. Thought the deadline was today. Only non-AWD cars I tend to use are the GT4 and GT3 cars. Street cars I tend to stick with the GT-Rs. hahaha

For the BRZ, short shifting due to the power band? I was wringing it out, I wonder how much time that cost me.

It doesn’t really pull that well above 7k RPM. I started short shifting it and was picking up like 7KPH in the long straights.
