As a fellow engineer, I am so happy to see that you are validating your design with strain gauges. This is how you do it right. Excellent work

We aim to please . Actually, I just don't want to hurt anyone or anything (their car). We went very light with the unit.

awesome work eric. it is pretty fascinating to see you develop parts for your (our) car, you seem really talented.

where can someone buy velox parts? I know your intake manifold is branded as ft86sf, but I don't see any of the other parts there for sale. I'm particularly interested in the rear LCA's.

Thanks . I just like to doodle .

Everything will be available through FT86SpeedFactory... we currently only have the splitter and race upgrade in production. Everything else is being tested and then once proven, will go into production. We really want to avoid any recalls. We are striving to be known for quality and thoroughly tested parts aka carefree ownership .

So I actually kinda need these like ASAP. Just lowered it tonight and it's not looking like stock toe adjustment is going to cut it.

These are prototypes, so they aren't perfect. The machinist missed flats on the shank and the eccentrics are a hair shorter then I'd like. I wouldn't feel comfortable selling or even giving away parts that aren't 100%.

Wouldn't mind being a field test car and then buying a completed set when they're available.

Really appreciate the love! We work our butts off so that one day we may be able to do this full time.

We're working with FT86SpeedFactory to get all of this stuff into production. We currently are making sure that we are in the right price range and that all components live up the expectations that I think they should.

Cool cool. Let us know when they're available then. I'll be first in line most likely.

Not too sure where to pick back off.

I got banned by overstepping my bounds (whoops). So I am watching what I do/say and trying to create some actual revenue before paying for sponsorship.

A lot has happened so here we go:

Center section fixture

Plenum flanges

Not bad for an engineer who doesn't fabricate much .

That's it for engine development.

Failure ;(. But we have the fix, we're machining up much stronger adjusters and will retest soon. They lasted quite a while and this isn't a light load scenario at all. We want even more longevity out of the unit though, so adding 0.25 lbs to the weight and increasing strength by about 75%. Should do well.

More CFD stuff to come :

I think that wraps everything up.
