Window issue after window replacement

2015 BRZ had the main passenger side window broken and replaced, but the light keeps flashing.. car has push start, tried the reset procedure a few times but it won't work

So the problem is the window doesn't go down all the way or up all the way holding the button, no matter what it only goes down in like 1/5th segments 5/5 being full close/open

the window acts like closed because when up all the way, the auto down to clear the jam/seal feature works, but when you close the door it wont go back up

from the driver's side, the passenger window switch does nothing

I'm thinking BCM needs a reset via techstream or something?
Or disable auto/up down and BCM needs to learn that window is present?

Roll the window all the way down and hold for 5 or 10 seconds.
Roll the window all the way up and hold for 5 or 10 seconds.

But be warned, if it isn't OEM glass there is a higher likelihood that the glass needs to be adjusted correctly for the reset to work. The first time I got OEM glass and it was no problem. The second time I didn't and it wont reset and the window is uneve compared to other twins. Someone posted the leveling procedure and correct spec for its height when all the way up but I don't recall which thread that was.

Tried the rolling window down all the way and up all the way, didn't hear an audible click.. tried the halfway method, and also the method where you hold 2 consecutive times, nothing worked

but yup the glass isn't OEM, and that's what I thought because the window acts like its fully closed but not open at the same time (For the auto jam feature)

I'll look to see if I can find the info on adjusting it. I still haven't fixed mine but Im fairly certain it wont reset correctly due to the window going too high in front and not high enough in the back so it's not triggering correctly (I hope, otherwise I have no idea lol). Mine hasn't worked since August of last year and I just found this info around December iirc

Yup. If this happens again Ill drop the extra cash and get OEM glass and install myself again. I was leaving out of state the day after it happened so had to get it fixed asap so aftermarket was all i could get

Thanks, actually it was a friend's of mine who's car got broken into.. safelite wanted $350, and I said find an OEM window, but he needed a window ASAP so he got it done somewhere downtown for $150.. not bad for a passenger window, I mean didn't think it'd be a big deal like the quarter panel window or the windshield(s)
But thanks for the help, when he drops the car off I'll see what I can do for him and report back the results

Also I figure its better if I worked on his car since, the place he got his window well, they know how to install windows, but don't speak much English and I doubt they get alot of these cars because he said the guy was really struggling

I really should save up for an 86, such a great community lol

So some updates to the scenario, I tried adjusting the window, it closes better but it still hasn't fixed the motor not engaging smoothly, and it only goes up in segments.. I ran techstream and tried to clear the DTC's but B2316 kept coming back which makes me think the switch would be bad.. but a switching going bad after replacing window sound likely?

I know the jam switch still works because the window goes down when it detects door is opening

Here is a useful link for anyone replacing windows btw
