All of this work for a DIY alignment wasted

I adjusted the front camber with the camber plates then figured I'd need to do an alignment on it. I bought a camber gauge. I spent 45 minutes setting up a toe box. I measured everything twice and... it's all exactly where I want it. -1.75° camber all around. 1/16" toe out up front, and 1/16" toe in out back. There goes my plans for my day off. I guess I'll just wash her and fix the rattling coming from the trunk instead. Oh well. Test drives will be had either way.

I feel like I'm missing the point. What work was wasted if you got what you wanted?
I agree with Alpha, needs red sidemarkers, please.

EDIT: It took me a couple re-reads- you didn't adjust anything, it was already set how you wanted. I feel dense but I'll leave this comment here for amusement.

Don't feel bad; it took me a minute too.

In short, the wasted effort was in set up and bothering to measure (and buying a camber gauge). Of course if he hadn't done the setup and measured everything he wouldn't have known what his alignment was either, so I'd just call it the easiest alignment to do!

You mean the flowery sawhorse in the back?

Not a waste of time in the least since now you know.

It's multifunctional. I sat in it while I was googling track width and doing math. who needs to walk more than 5 steps from their car to sit down while working?

That is exactly how I pictured it being used.

Welp. This backfired. I was driving home yesterday and noticed my wheel is about 1/8 turn left if I'm driving straight. It wasn't like that before. Now I'm getting a U0122 code which I'm seeing as VSC sensor malfunction and my vsc/abs lights are coming on. I'm going back to the shop that did the original alignment tomorrow because I think something slipped. I double checked my camber plates and they're exactly where I've had them for a week but the R/R seems toed out. I guess this is what happens when I open my fat mouth.
