I don't mind the mouth. I kind of hated the stripes: just not the car for stripes, they were too skinny, drew too much attention, knew they wouldn't look good in 10 years (and I keep cars long term), etc. But honestly, I'm lazy and probably would have left them, plus the girlfriend liked them. Then my cat jumped on my hood right after I waxed it, started sliding and out came the claws. Kind of forced my hand. LOL

Ya, I hear that.

Brings to mind of the time, back in 1970, In California, I had purchased a brand new, 1970 MGB-GT, in British Racing Green. Oh, yes, I had that puppy super waxed up with several coats of "Classic Car Wax" (the paste). If you have ever used that stuff, you would appreciate what a job that was.

Well, we headed out of town for a week (flying) and left my precious MGB in our garage ...... along with my wife's cat. I reckon the cat got bored and decided to use the top and hood of the car for a cat slide ......

No, I didn't kill the cat ...... I just had it's claws removed and covered my car with a blanket.

THE END

humfrz

PS - YES, I used to take really good care of my cars .....

My cat's a little attached to me, so if I'm in the garage, so is he. If I'm near I let him have supervised car visits because warm hoods are awesome. So, I really can't be mad him... besides, look at that face!

EDIT: No, that is not the scratch in that picture, just a cat hair.

Yes, I've been reading cat's faces for going on 70 years now ........ and what that cat is saying is.

"soon sucker, soon ...... as soon as you turn your back, I'm hitting that slide"
