Correct aftermarket LED wiring?

Ok quick problem.. i already inserted it before double checking with the adapter and i didnt realize the adapter has a specific plug side only.. is it even possible to remove and switch these wires? Or is cutting them them and interchanging their stems the only option? Or.. can i cut the plastic piece at the center adapter?

You can remove the pins from the socket and swap them around if it isnt too late. If you look inside the connector you will see a tiny plastic tooth/tab that holds the pin down. You need to lift this and then pull the wire out from behind. Similar to the tail light connectors when you need to swap wires.

I have a video for the tail light connectors that might help understand. They basically all work like this.
