Yeah maybe we could shoot fire out the vent? In all seriousness I and a lot of people want a functional vent/turn signal there and I can't figure out why no one has done it.

functional vent here - as someone had mentioned, now you just have to put an LED strip on it and figure out a way to wire it/control it.

Cant see the image you posted but yes there is one available.
http://led86.com.au/fender-garnish/4...r-garnish.html
Its not a dual led color but it does have an indicator feature which might be legal in USA?
As i understand it, you guys can have white indicators?
We have one of these on our demo car and wired to the interior light so it turns on/off when the door is open or the car locks/unlocks.
It could also be run as a DRL although in direct sunlight its hard to see and at night it is very very bright.
The other option you could do is have it as a DRL and when you indicator it has a module to make it flash and then back to DRL mode.
Can be requested with amber LED and have it wired to side markers and function only as an indicator.

lol @Skorov beat me to it!

Not a fan of that one from Australia. The lighted part should be the middle, not the vent part... Someone should get on that.

I question whether any of these are truly functional as 'vents', i.e., allowing for the passage of air through them for the purpose of cooling internals or aiding in aerodynamic performance.
