Wasn't making my post in response to your there 2forme just sharing my exp so far with intakes and bogging. After watching the video I can understand why you would be pissed. I wouldn't blame Airaid tho as if this is happening with other intakes as well as apparently to stock cars it sounds like a design flaw or something but i'm no expert. I wish you the best in finding a resolution to the issue tho that loss unbearable to me.

He also stated he would be testing other Intake's to possibly write tunes for those as well. This is not some big conspiracy, it's actually very normal in the performance world. Thanks, David |

The intake was sent to see what the car was doing and why it was doing it. John |

There is only one way to install it. The mounting only works in one direction. Besides, I've swapped the intakes a few times now. It's been a consistent problem each time. :-/

Dip is not an issue, will be taken care of soon according to Jimmy. If the tune is not the issue why is he not experiencing any bogs on the multiple FT86's they have tuned? Bog was there before the tune, wasn't after. A step at a time guys, the cars are only a few months old. With a dual injection setup, unfortunately almost all mods are going to be beneficial with a correct tune. The days of just slapping parts on are over in my opinion. |

I hope it doesn't come to that. I'm fairly sure that between John and Injen/AIRAID solutions can be found.

Simply: to maximize power output. There are 30 trouble free users for every 1 user that says there is a bogging issue. Its not a common occurrence. We are working to find a solution, but its not the Airaid product specifically causing the issue. If you look at the poll results (which do not represent every intake on the market) youll see there are more people experiencing bogging who are stock then those with an intake. So based on those poll results, you could say the intake fixes the problem - we know this is not the case, but lets quit with the finger pointing and accusations instead lets all work to find a solution for the few of us who have run into less than favorable drive-ability. |
