I have probably 6 dings fit for PDR. It might be cheaper to just buy a PDR kit and pull the dents out myself, seriously.

Thought about the same thing but after watching several videos of non-professionals doing it themselves, I think it’s better to check with PDR shops.

I am also not sure about the shop since the dissemble several part to reach the dent.

We all know once you take out one part you start getting unusual noise or fitting issues

2017 with 105,000km. Daily driven all year round, rain, snow. Front PPF is pretty toast but the rest of the body is still holding up nicely.

Hood and roof have a few small dings from acorn damage but barely noticeable unless seen in perfect angles/lighting.

I polished it back in 2019 and applied a basic ceramic coating and finish still looks near the same. Will be doing another polish shortly to apply a new ceramic coating combo.

Cars not "clean" but still shows the paint has some depth and sparkle. That was after a week and a quick 4 minute blast at a coin wash.

There's nothing wrong if your car gets beat to shit, provided you had fun getting it there.

Garage queens are for sissies.

On the other hand it's also good if it cleans up well.

- August 2013 build date (2014 model year); owned new since January 2014
- currently around 158,000 km (98,000 miles); driven year-round/daily, a few road trips and occasional track days
- original TOB surprisingly, but I have the new TOB and clutch related parts ready in storage when it starts to go
- other than regular maintenance, the only major mechanical repairs have been rear wheel bearings around May 2020 and a new radiator 2 months ago.

Finally drove my '13 FRS with ~97k mi to the dump yesterday.

I had an old 36" Sony CRT TV that's been taking up space for years.
I wrestled it onto the passengers seat for the trip.
The car started beeping after leaving the driveway so I had to stop and use the seatbelt to strap it in.

Delivery was successful. No tears in the seat fabric or scraped plastic fittings.
A bit of dust that cleaned off adequately.

Drove the car back home. Left the TV there. (disambiguation)

A couple of years ago I hauled 6 or 7 car loads of junk to the recycling depot in my pristine '18 STI. There is 1 small scratch on the sliding door over the centre console, that's it. Didn't enjoy the process, that's for sure.

When the F-RS was new, before all the mods there was an electric recycling drop-off at the community centre literally 1 block from my house. Loaded up the trunk with old computer stuff. The nice people there proceeded to unload my trunk, and when I closed it there was a nice deep scratch on the top of the rear bumper. Oops, why should they give a crap. Actually the morning I went to work after picking up the car I was parked next to the wall and came out to discover a roofing contractor literally covered the roof of my car with tar specks. Took it home and cleaned with tar remover, but from then on stopped being a perfectionist with the car. Glad it wasn't a $100K+ Porsche.

Mine was a dealer demo that I picked up around July 14th 2012. She has about 111k on her now. Still holding up well besides some stains and a few dents. She is retired from track duty for now. Picked up the ST in 2020.

Here's my '12 aus-delivered GT. 2nd owner @ 13k kms, now done about 95k. Basically in brand new condition, save for a few exterior scuffs. Only had to replace a coil pack on cylinder 1.

Hey this is a game I can play!

-2013 FRS bought new in October 2013 with 300 miles (demo car)
-56k miles
-Yes, I did just wash the outside. It is due for a detail, but that might have to wait a few more weeks.
-I try to repair paint chips (poorly) and it has a few dents from:
---closing the driver's door on a snow shovel handle (winter 2013)
---dealership probably leaning too hard on the left fender (spring 2014)
---a big rock on the highway hitting the hood (~2015?)
---an acorn falling onto my roof when I stopped at a stop sign for 2 seconds (spring 2017)
---something shot out by the truck next to me on my very last commute on I83, denting the left door and rocker panel. (Summer 2019)
-been great, no major issues yet. Probably due for some major 60k mile maintenance this winter
