Where does that rate on the internet scale? Attention seeker? I'd rather call you a dimwit than write an essay addressing anything that needs clarification due to your continuous obfuscation of the intended solution by suggesting "salacious" tidbits that might make the less wary question their beliefs. You could start a cult. All by suggestion and weak listeners. Fodder for the dimwitted in my eyes but then I'm the only one I know here that lost an immediate family member to Covid19. Maybe I'm more sensitive to using the topic as a form of amusement. Guys when you respond to Pilots suggestions you encourage his behaviors. Just like the tease or the schoolyard bully my father taught me to ignore so many years ago.

I'm glad you feel that way. Enjoy the sweet smell of durian, not victory

So, nothing. Hope springs eternal. I appreciate your eventual candor. At least you're not doubling/tripling down.

The other day I stumbled upon an article in PNAS saying that transdermal vaccination via 3D-printed microneedles induces potent humoral and cellular immunity. Hope this technology will help to cope with covid. Last edited by Jacky Smith; 10-06-2021 at 10:25 AM. |

Seriously guys, the ignore list can really limit the amount of effluent that tends to gush out of this tread. I have several users on mine and it makes coming on the thread to see various legitimate perspectives from around the country and beyond much more useful by raising the S/N ratio to the level of intelligibility.

At various times in my life, I've dropped unknown pills from trusted sources. Some to many of them made my life either better or, at a minimum, more interesting.

Back on topic for just a second, I find it depressing just how successful the anti-vaccine disinformation has been. Last week I was talking to a fellow who has done some work on my house. His education is limited, but he's a pretty smart guy. He had an unfinished job at the house and we were discussing finishing it. I asked if he was vaccinated. When he said he was not I told him any unvaccinated workers needed to be masked. He had no problem with that.
I asked him why he wasn't. He hemmed and hawed a bit - said his wife and adult kids were but he hadn't been able to do it. Said he was afraid of side effects. I asked him which side effects and he said he wasn't sure, but that people keep talking about how bad they can be and that they can be fatal. He was cagey about where he heard all of this. I asked him if he knew many vaccinated people and he said, "yes. A lot." I asked him how many of them had gotten really sick from the vaccine. He replied, "none really. Some had a flu for a few days." I asked him how many had died? "Nobody." I asked if he knew anybody who had come down with Covid19? He said "a few - 20 or 30." I asked him if any of them had died? He said "3 or 4." I asked him which seemed more serious, getting a flu for a couple of days or dying." He said he was still concerned about the vaccine. I think he decided to vax, but I'm not sure. The folks spreading this bullshit should be shot.

I've got some 250 ug blotters pressed in a Stephen Hawking book somewhere.
My friends and I all tried my friend's brother's Ritalin once.
