Yep, Harris also had the stones to trash the venerable and revered Miata. I don't agree with all of his views (especially on the Miata), but at least I know he's honest about his opinion. And that's really all I want from a journalist.

So, for instance, when Harris said he loved his drive of the BRZ, I know I can take him at his word. And that bodes well for the BRZ.

I don't know that he will like it, as power oversteer is his definition of good handling.

TG don't shed light, they're an entertainment program.
When they get to your local dealer, schedule a test drive, then you'll know for yourself

Oh, look, someone who takes TG:UK reviews seriously. And the review won't come out until late summer at best.

Everyone knows Aston Martin and Jaguar are the best cars ever! And stay away from those crappy Porsche 911s, it's just a beetle!

Well, even if they are towing the 3rd party marketing line for this car, maybe the side benefit will be that it will encourage Toyota to speed up the Supra revival.

Can't wait for some lap times shoot outs in this car though.

Yes, I take TG UK seriously! Most of my car buying decisions are 10% based on reviews by top gear

TG has slammed Ferrari's quite a bit - especially that new AWD one. And really, they do a lot of stuff tongue in cheek. Slam 911s yet 2 of them own them (and admit it). I'm with James on the "too much 'ring time tuning" - hence being on a BRZ/FR-S forum.

How does Ferrari stop owners from loaning cars for reviews?

They don't but if they find out about you as a journalist driving a ferarri that they haven't approved they blacklist you.

Better than the new Mclaren? There's a reason why I don't take magazine reviews very seriously.

Spoiler alert: it won't do well. It will never get a good lap time on any track on the stock tires, which is how everyone tests it.

It's not a review, it's a casual blog comment.

True. There aren't enough tight sections for it to make up for the average straight line speed.

I wonder who will test it.

Jeremy "POWAHHH!" Clarkson will likely say it's underpowered but very fun to drive. Much like his RX-8 review.

James "Capt. Slow" May will bemoan its 'ring-tuned ride but call the power perfect.

Richard "The Hamster" Hammond will say it's not as good as the 911 but damn close to the smaller Cayman for the money.

The Stig will likely say it's a great chassis, but could use more power for the TG track.
