Cnt uel headers

Anybody tried the cnt headers? My setup is not that much (perrin inlet hose, k&n air filter, borla axleback exhaust) im thinking of getting one but i know the cel would appear. Is it okay to use an o2 spacer without any tune afterwards? Im not into that perfomance cars tbh i just wanted to have that boxer rumble loll.

The spacer might dodge the CEL and without a tune your gains will be minimal, but I suppose it would be "okay". If all you are truly looking for is the sound it should do the trick.

I am running the CNT UEL Header with the Borla catback.

I also have the OFT tune to get rid of the CEL.

When I first installed it, I only used new gaskets and I had a bit of exhaust leak at the header to block. I went back under with some gasket maker putty stuff (im not sure technical term) and re-torqued and all is better.

The rumble is definitely there. Its not as rumbly as my old WRX but you can hear it for sure.

Running Cnt with Nameless Axleback and OFT. Seems a tiny bit raspy at really low rpm (goes away quickly), but it's nice and rumbly and great for the cost.

@carsebuco have you tried using an o2 spacer before getting a tune? I also read in some forums that whenever they cold start their car it makes that smell especially on catless?

Removing a cat will result in more hydrocarbons making it through your exhaust system to the open air. So yeah, it's going to smell like you have more hydrocarbons in your exhaust.
