$70 ticket 2 days after I got my permanent tags for no front tag. Was on my way to a meet on 95 south in Howard County not too far from you. Was a prick state cop though so I was pretty much screwed as soon as I drove past him. Explained I had the relocation kit on order and my temp tags were even still valid. Not worth burning my vacation days to take it to court.... sucks.....

So, you had valid temp tags, no hard tags in your possession, yet you still got a ticket for no front plate??

Picked up my 2014 Canadian BRZ today. Here are the things I noticed on the Canadian model
1. Different GPS, looks like it is using the same GPS America has
2. Did not get that rumored knee pad
3. Badging is the same, still says SUBARU on the left, BRZ on the right

Also tried to record a redline run, but ran into some traffic right at 7000RPM. I even left work a bit later to avoid the traffic.

Crazy! So no knee pads or door pads? You should take a picture of the stereo head unit.

Installed smoke front side markers with yellow LED bulbs.
Also installed Grimmspeed hood struts. Hood prop no longer needed!

How's the build quality and installation process? I've been thinking about getting one.

Side markers or hood struts?

Side markers were from an eBay vendor and fit perfectly. Carefully reading the manual for marker removal is essential. After that, it's easy and looks MUCH better on my black car.

The Grimmspeed struts are very high quality and easy to install. An online pdf offers detailed instructions with pics.

Both jobs together took less than an hour with a "beverage" break in the middle.

No, I had the hard tags, put the rear on, hadn't gotten to the front because it required drilling into my bumper, my point with the temp tag was I offered to put it back on until I could mount the front tag since it still had more than a month until it expired and the state trooper wasn't having any of it.

yeah, sorry that happened to you. Never switch tags in any state until you have everything you need to be properly presented in said state.
When I moved back to VA from CT I turned in my CT tags and put my VA tags on at the dmv. On my way to inspection (SAME DAY LEAVING THE DMV) I got pulled over for no county and no inspection sticker. (PRICK) The lady at the dmv told me it was fine to put them on…I should have asked her to pay the fines I got.

On a positive note what I did to my brz today?
Fell in love with it all over again!

I installed a JDM coach works cluster hood covered in Alcantara. It looks awesome so now I am tempted to buy and make my own Alcantara shift boot and handbrake boot.
