Mishimoto intake + OBX catback and stock tune for the last 10k miles.

Had Tomei UEL + full exhaust and an OFT tune for around 50k miles.

The car had rod knock at 60k and a new motor was put in. We found out that the shop that did the swap didn't connect the transmission and engine correctly, and that might've caused the failure. The new motor will be a 2JZGE from an IS300, and for the transmission, we were thinking about putting in a W55 or a CD009, not 100% sure yet, but should come to a decision very soon.

Thanks for the information.

Good to know that the AT may have been "caused" to fail.

Well that doesn’t count lol Still at the first AT to fail on its own. All hail the AT

Oh, it's torture for that first half hour while the ECU is still butthurt about your poor life choices.

It felt like my ECU was butt hurt for the entire duration of the tank.
It revs noticeably smoother on 94. I get why everyone runs E85 where only 91 is available.
