I also want a single exit catback. Problem is they are all quite loud as I understand it.

That's not true. In US earlier time, all the single exit pipping been around 3", but shops learned and a lot of em went into 2.25~2.75".

I, myself have a single exit 2.5" catback & welded Borla muffler. It's pretty quiet compared to other dual aftermarket exhaust. Prob only one I can think that's very quiet is Fujitsubo exhaust.

People do drink hand sanitizer. Its unfortunate but it happens.

I was going to say, probably comes down to the muffler really.

Proof is only applicable to alcoholic beverages.
If it is ethanol them 140 proof means it about 70% which would be fine.
If any other type of alcohol then 70% is the bare minimum requirement and you may as well be pissing on your hands for all the good it will do you.
Health Canada had to go on the air and tell people to stop making home sanitizer with Vodka since it doesn't even come close to the required 60% ethanol and people relying on it were just fooling themselves.
Yep, active ingredient 70% ethyl alcohol. That's why it smells like shine.

Yeah res and muffler are the major factor... also pipe size is another factor as well. Just like Fujitsubo, idk how in the hell they can keep it so quiet, even w single exit. But again, I'm not looking into quiet or loud exhaust. Prob like other members, who just want enough noise to keep me smiling while driving.

I like quiet/low tone. On my wagon (JDM Version 8 swap) I have the Invidia Q300 which is almost as quiet as stock exhaust even though it's a wide diameter. Of course that car is also a sleeper...

Ah~ Q300... catback that always will be seen in every car FS page. Invidia is def know what customer wants. They have loudest exhaust to quietest exhaust. iirc they even made titanium exhaust for fair price. I feel Invidia exhaust hang a bit low for our car. For other cars, they fit and hang nicely... but somehow they mis-measure ours... or is it just me?

Well, I hope ol Zeke didn't get confused about which batch he distilled and which batch he double distilled -

The suspension I used adds a 1" lift lol even without the 1" aluminum spacers I machined at my Dad's tool and die company because it was a 2" lift overall on my old WRX sedan. It's got like outback springs in it even though it's an Impreza wagon chassis. I'm not worried about exhaust scrape.

Well if you're lifted then, yeah def don't need to worry bout scraping for sure. I love some of older Subie. It's a damn lego, you can mix and match parts. My '00 Impreza had WRX seats from '07. It fit perfectly into it without an issue.
