New car for university

Hello all first post here. I am a 20 year old university student here in New Zealand and currently drive a BRZ as my first car. I am likely getting a new car at the end of next year when I am halfway through my studies and the new car will be used as a daily for university. So need opinions thanks. The cars that I have had my eyes on is mainly a Mercedes glc63s amg which I could get but have also been thinking about a c63s or possibly a Mclaren 570s if the price drops a little bit by the end of next year. What do you people think? Please let me know your opinions or any recommendations of other cars I could look into. Thanks

Sounds like either a fantasy or son of a rich kid. Daily a 570s? LOL!

I've heard that cars are real cheap in New Zealand. Manufacturers send cars over in kitform, flat packs. Maclaren do a cracking flat pack for the same price as a fully formed Twin..

Hello georgejxu199 and welcome to our forum -

As long as your BRZ is dependable, I would suggest you just keep it till you graduate. Then, after you get established with a good job, pay off any school debts, then save up enough money to pay cash for a new car. That will determine what kind of car you get.

There ya go -

https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=134657 Ok I'm thoroughly confused. Are you going to college or university? I feel like I've been had.

Yes. Universities usually are larger, offer a wider selection of classes , and specifically offer graduate programs leading to your masters or doctorate.

Though both words are thrown arround interchangeably like "fuel"and "gas".

Hi I go to university. I thought college is just what people overseas called it so I put “college” my mistake

I’m being actually very serious though. Here are the links for the cars I have my eyes on. Just so you know I am not here to “joke” and want peoples opinions.

I can’t tell if your joking or not but yes cars here are considerably cheaper than overseas. Especially compared to Australia
