I was coherent immediately after I had my wisdom teeth pulled. Apparently I recover from the stuff rapidly. Even after the car ride home my brother needed help getting into the house. I walked myself out of the doctor's office, and into the house when I got home. As far as I know, no secrets were spilled.

After I installed the HID low beams, I gave my neighbor a ride in my car just for shits and giggles. He loved it.
He then gave me a ride in his Civic Si. Was ignorant before but now I know... know the feeling when VTEC kicks in. I will fully admit I giggled like a little school girl throughout the whole ride. Its so damn dramatic.. |

When I got my wisdom teeth pulled I only had local anaesthetic. I was fully aware through the whole thing. The next day I had to go to the college to meet with a counselor and sign up for classes. I was on Vicodin for pain, didn't have time that morning to eat but my friend brought me a coffee. A little after I got my shit done, I was headed to meet up with my friend and then I totally just passed out. Woke up in the nurse's office with my friend like "wtf dude?" tl;dr Don't mix coffee and Vicodin on an empty stomach.

So I'm hoping to drive my FR-S today after a three-day hiatus from it.
I'm definitely making it the weekend car from now on... hopefully. I just gotta resist the temptations to drive it. |

Watching "Overhaulin'" last night. Brad Pitt wants Foose to overhaul a shell of a '68 Mustang, which is literally already in pieces, for his fiance. Anyway, they got to the point where the engine had to go in. Rather than using a stock 289/302, they used a 5.0 L "Coyote" engine. Fine, except when they got the engine compartment ready, the guy goes, "We'll need to remove..." At that moment, I said in unison with him, "the shock towers." I started laughing uncontrollably for 5 minutes.
See, I owned a '65 and the two things that prevented putting a big block in this car were the shock towers. (The '68 was the same engine bay, basically.) These guys cut them out, but they didn't show how the suspension was altered to accommodate their absence. As it was, they nearly couldn't close the hood either and had to cut down the cowl to get it in. Ah, the "fun" of working with the old Mustang engine compartment!

OK, so now I have to find a really old thread about Hooker Headers and start an argument about them.
