Probably not. I wouldn't want too anyway since the car is already low and invisible enough that the higher brake light may be all there is between you and a butt thumping.

There are other lighted emblems that could serve the purpose of third brake light. I am giving the link just for the concept. It doesn't look like a good quality/reliable light to me.

Or, if we can find a round and thin-enough red led pad, we can place it under the stock emblem. Please post if you find any.

Might not be visible from far enough away. If you want to delete the stock 3rd brake light, there are several high mount lights on the market. There Intec one is spendy but carbon (I think), and there is one for a Ford Mustang that fits pretty well for about $50.

It's totally possible but would take some know-how as far as wiring. I'm currently working on some custom mods on my car which are leading me down the path of learning all about the electronics. First one is a toggle switch for my side marker lights so they can switch between the amber light they come with and a white light. The whole reason for the toggle is because the white light isn't exactly street legal, so I'd like to have the ability to switch when I spot the fuzz.

I know those two options. I just don't want to stick those to my rear window and start watching if they are falling.

Wiring is super easy. I just need to find the suitable light for that trunk garnish. The ideal size should be about 3" x 5"

I think switching them will just draw attention to it. Ive had white for several years without issue. I recommend you play dumb if and when you get pulled over for it. Suggest you connect the amber to your blinker though. Would be good for merging

Had mine for 2 years now? 3? No issue. The mustang one (probably Intec also) tuck under the headliner on the back and use 3m tape. My mustang light only sticks on the front edge because it isn't shaped 100% for our window but it's holding fine

Insulated my window switches today because the rattles finally got to me, lol. I don't know why I didn't do it before, this remarkably "improved" the quality of the stock audio system...

Avionics, you will do a lot of sheetmetal if you do installs. Looks like you have picked it up.
