Yeah, it's going through the insurance but I think it's more like $500, I think he miscalculated because he said like $125 a wheel. |

So I finally got the car back, decided to not repair the wheels and save for aftermarket. Problem now is that there is a bunch of overspray, paint has a bunch of scratches. So now I have to bring it back to the shop again. This is whole situation is getting irritating considering how much time I've spent on detailing and opticoating the car to have it all messed up now. Are opticoats covered in an auto accidents? Lol

Car went in to get an alignment today and now the steering is not completely centered and goes off to the right a little.
(Paper was wet from the rain) Does it look normal for stock suspension? Also, does anyone know if there are gaps below their taillight and are the badges they put back and paint job even acceptable? I know this car will not perfectly the same as before, but when does it get to a point of being acceptable and being nit picking. Thanks |

It should be perfect. If the body shop won't guarantee everything for life that means they won't stand behind there work. It should look like it just came off the showroom floor, because that is what your insurance is paying for.

Most repair shops use cheap aftermarket parts not OEM parts to keep the cost down. Insurance companies puts heaps of pressure on them to keep the cost down. My insurance company covers OEM parts only and this is stated to the repair shop. @why is right they should guarantee the work for life. If you are not happy get them to fix it and speak to your insurance company. Good luck!
