Weird that they're selling it with it on already... It's not supposed to be part of the package.

Next week I have an appointment with my clear bra and tint guy.
Here's mine with the rear diffuser installed at the dealership.

Can't believe how soft this paint is. It seems if a bug lands on your roof and slides off at freeway speed it leaves a gash. I knew it wouldn't stay new for ever being a daily driver, but wow. Every trip to town leaves a new mark.

May have to spring for opticoat while I still have some blue left.

Opticoat won't do anything about those "marks". Those are actually small chips. The way to prevent them is with a paint protection film.

Is it just me, but while i'm breaking in the car to 1000 miles (i'm at 50 miles only I think), but the engine forces me to shift into such a low RPM range (usually around 2K-2500 rpm) and the ranges are so short.

For example,

1st 0-5
2nd 5-15
3rd 15-25
4th 25-35

So on and so forth.

Am I missing something here or is it just me? Please don't roast me. Any explanation would be appreciated.

Does the manual state to keep the RPMs that low for the first 1000 miles? You can't even make 70 mph under 2500 rpms. I think you're good to shift fairly normal at 3k-4k rpms, I'd just avoid flooring or redlining it.
