Help with poke on rear

Hey guys,

Sorry for the odd request but does anyone have any images of a FRS/GT86 with around about 1.4cm of poke on the rear? The reason being is the wheels I want to buy with the offsets have 1.4cm of poke and I just want to know how terrible it will look. I will be lowering the car a little maybe an inch maximum so I am not going crazy low/cambered.

Thank you
Ash

That kind of rear poke. I knew that.

Can you share the width and offset of these wheels? Curious on the Maths that brought you to 1.4cm of "poke".

Don't have too much experience with a poke on the rear, but I would suggest to make sure he's lubed up

Half inch poke is not going to kill you, my wheels had like 2 inches of poke before I did some camber.

LOl damit I really should have been paying attention but I think its safe to say 2am thread titles are never a good idea. I am sorry I dont have proper ET offsets just yet its just what the wheel guy I am buying the wheels off told me. He asked me to measure the distance from tyre to spring to gauge clearance and then took the factory specs and gave me a 1.4cm poke of the wheel in the rear guard.

WolfsFang any more pictures of your set up? I have looked through your thread, is that image above with 2" of poke from the rear guards?

wow I would definitely find a new "wheel guy".

If he can't give you the basic width and offset, I don't even...

For sure I would as well but seeing as no one here will build me some VS-XX I am stuck. I will ask again for proper offsets but at this stage thats all I have to work with sorry. I will try my best to get proper offsets and post them up I am just currently looking for anyone with any pictures of their rear wheels sticking out 1.4cm or there about past the rear guard

According to the sticky you need 17x9 +42 to be flush at stock height and 17x9 +37 to be flush at inch lower. So looks like you will need to be slammed to flush 9 inch with 24 offset.

Looks like similar situation in the front.

I wouldn't buy it unless you are going to the herrasfrush look

I dont want the hella flush look at all but I will go rocket bunny over fenders later on, however this set up I was hoping to work with stock body for now. I knew it would stick past the guards but I was hoping to see pictures like WolfsFang posted as an idea
