Looks like a decent setup, I can't wait to see some numbers on it.

I don't think Gear One was saying anything of the sort. Just that they can't wait to see how it does power wise...though I imagine if it's a good header at a good price with good availability a lot of vendors will want in on these.

I don't see given it's design for it to do as well as nameless & ace's. Shorter runners will certainly impact scavenging.

I will drive it for the holidays after they dyno and need about 500 to 800 miles with multiple key cycles so we'll see if my car emits a CEL. I should get it back this Friday.

UPDATE: I had the car over the weekend with the prototype Blackheart Hooker header w/ cats and drove over 500 miles to Indianapolis and back and so far no CEL. I dropped the car back to Holley this morning and I'm back to the Sonic rental .

Hey guys I contacted Holley and unfortunately I won't have my car back today. They were doing some sound tests with the front pipes and have actually been on this forum reading about the bad "drone" with the current front pipes on the market. They are making one with cats and without and they did notice what everyone is complaining about.

So, with that said, they are trying different sound chambers to cancel or minimize this drone. They are still in development and testing so I couldn't come by to take photos. Sooo excited they are addressing these things since I myself need my car to be a DD.

Hoping to get some photos tomorrow.

Well, I'm getting my car back today. It will have prototype headers w/ cat and front pipe w/ cats. I have to put some miles on her to ensure both combinations do not emit a CEL. One interesting thing the Holley Engineer in charge talked to me about was this sound chamber they incorporated due to the forum demands to make sure drone does not exist while driving, furthermore, he said that Subaru spent soooo much time developing a sound chamber into the stock front pipe they would hate to just get rid of it.
Here are some photos the engineer sent to me...ENJOY!!!!!
I'll keep everyone posted on my take on the system once I get it on the road.

I'm also in for updates! Some great looking pieces so far, I like that front midpipe.

Wow, Holley did not waste any time at all it's insane, within a month they have a worked header and front pipe setup that looks really promising on stock tune.

Yeah it's really amazing what kind of resources Holley has in-house, they have every ability to bend tube, dyno, water jet flanges/brackets without outsourcing which I think eliminate any down time.

I have logged in over 700 miles on the header w/ cat and front pipe w/ cat combo and no CEL. The best part is the power, I mean WOW!!!! Before I hated the power band in the mid range and found myself having to stay over 4500 RPM for any power but now I can short shift and find power anywhere in the RPM range. The best part is they did something magical because my car has NO DRONE. Keep in mind this is with a stock exhaust be t even then, the first front pipe version I test drove had a slight drone between 2000-2800 RPM but with Holley's final version 2 w/ the sound chamber, it is non existent.

Also, this is all stock tune guys!!!!!
