Yeah, I was surprised as well. This is some new group that is having autocross every month. I'm down to go, I might go next weekend (May 26th). It sure beats driving to Fontana.

Ehh, I'd much rather drive on one of Southern Cali's most reputable courses with a bunch of other 86 drivers then go around orange cones at an airport >_<.

Plus, they'll be having sit ins with some of the more experienced drivers out there. Which I really want to do.

Hey, have you done one of those events before? Seem very well priced for track day. Just wondering how many runs do you actually get. I'm in the SLO area and another FRS and I just did an autoX at the Santa Maria airport and was actually pretty fun. Though I really do want to try actual tracks. Also, are you thinking about upgrading your brakes (pads and rotor) before doing track day?

I was referring to autocrossing locally versus autocross at Fontana...

Pads and higher weight oil should be pretty good. I think you usually get three or so 20 minute sessions.

Definitely going to upgrade my pads before I head out to the track. This'll be my first time so I want to be very prepared . From what I've heard you can get up to 25 runs or something.. It's a lot of runs. lol.

Unfortunately, my new wheels/tires won't be in before next weekend .
