If the dealer has 16 models ill def look at those, thanks everyone for the welcoming and for your thoughts and comments, i can't buy used modded cars since i only have a hand full of K's cash. So financing it's the only way for me to achiebe my goal of owning an 86! Plus whats the point in buying a modded car i want to built my 86 thank you all, and you guys will be hearing more from me!

If you can go for the 16 models you can always rebadge and do Winjets and Morimoto HIDS my highly recommended mods you should do first thing.

banks and credit unions will finance vehicles in the last 7 years. they usually just need the vin and other relevant information. they don't really audit the car, so in reality, you can buy a modified car and have it financed.

Even with the slight power bump in the manual, it's honestly pretty negligible. You still have to rev the crap out of the motor to get power - which is also kind of the idea anyway. There might be a slight improvement with the torque dip, but the general feeling when driving the car is still much the same.

Either way if fun driving and handling what you are looking for, then you have certainly found the right car.

If AT is what you want/need AT is what you should get regardless of what other forum members may tell you.

If there are 16's left on the lot, you may be able to get a much better deal for it with lower interest and etc. BUT if the changes they made for the 17's are what you want, then again, 17's are what you should get. If possible, try to steer clear from used ones since there's about 99% chance they've been used and abused too.

Buy what you want and mod after driving the car for a few.
Hope you'll get a good deal on a 2016.
Nothing wrong with a AT. I paddle shift on mine all the time.

Drive the manual when you drive the auto, who knows you may love it. And you can get financing on a 2013 if you want. Find it at the dealership and they'll work out financing. They will not let you leave without the car lol
But you're gona eat it on that 2015 if its not paid for.
