Well, I'm just about taking the day off. I have the laundry about half done. mrs humfrz is off to the hair dresser (I must remember to tell her hair looks nice, when she returns).

I remember, back when she and I were dating, I picked her up from the hair dresser (after she got it cut pretty short) and she asked me how I liked it. I told her it looked a little "dyke-ish".

WRONG thing to say!

Dykes... your end of the woods?? No!! I thought country folk were simple, man, woman, or nearest sheep...

No, definitely more expensive.

15% probably won't. Depending on how one looks at "cost of living" and "wealth", I'd need 15-30% to break even. Housing (owning in particular) is expensive. Plus, I think there's a 70% chance of me getting a promotion in the next month or so. That makes the move worse financially if it were to happen.

It's less of an org chart than a list of people at this point. Very small company. The title part was just a footnote. I don't really care.

On the other hand, MD has a nearly 0% chance of their emissions inspection catching me with a catless header as opposed to 50% in PA, so that's a plus right?

Just buy a Berk fast cat FP and wait for your 70% chance.

That's the main topic this weekend. My dads been driving a '96 ranger single cab that was the 'kid car' for 15 years. Its been through hell's, and he'd like to get something nice for a change.

But my mom's been driving this suburban for longer, and it's their only vehicle that can tow their camper. She generally does a good job of telling us when things need repair, but being a womans car for so long, the little stuff starts to take it's toll, and never ranks high enough on her repair list to bother us busy kids about.

I'm trying to convince them to get my dad the f150 he wants by trading the suburban, and then eventually replacing the ranger(it's running like a tank, nothing major wrong with it other than just being a tired old tiny truck) with something economical(but will still baby for the grand kids) for my mom.

Sounds perfectly reasonable. Unless we stay on top of them, old machines will gladly set our priorities for us.

Dangerous thinking... I've been saving up my car fund pretty serious lately. I have a decent sum, but nowhere near my goal. What I do have is more than enough money to buy all the mods I've been thinking about for the 86...

I won't seriously mod the 86 until i have a work commuter and a backup. The problem with this thinking is I'm starting to develop a game plan for what i want to do to my pickup truck. Getting a 3rd vehicle will increase my mod plans in a negative way.

So i say mod the 86.
