Put in a D2H ballast with the VLAND and they look perfect, waited almost 3 and a half months for mine due to difficulties dealing with sellers but don't regret the wait now that they're finally installed.

I might be biased though since my car is black and the black housing of the VLAND just fits perfectly with what I was going for

The Vland turn signal looks cheap. Same with the Morimoto turn signal. Those are really my only gripes with those lights.

What makes you say that? I personally have no issue with it and think its placement on the headlight and light quality is fine. I won't deny that something like integrating the turn signal into the boomerang would be cool (which I know some people have done themselves) but as it comes i've never looked at my VLAND's and wished the signal bar was different.

Compared to something like the Spec D's which I would say does have a cheap/ ugly looking turn signal (looks like you have a worm in your headlight) don't see how they differ from any other OEM headlight with sequential indicators

I'm a fan of the 2nd gen 86 lights. I like the 2nd gen BRZ lights too.
It is hard to beat OEM quality.

Not to mention all the people that burnt out their BCU or had other serious issues from installing many of the aftermarket crap.

Does anyone know if it is possible to update the poll? For some reason one item is in itallics and another has an extra word in the description.

Surprised no-one has said the Valentis as they are the most OEM looking. I do like the OEM LED GT86 lights that were stock here in the UK, so would only consider the Valenti as a potential replacement, then the Gen 2 86 and BRZ come shortly after.

I snapped a shot of a friend's 17 BRZ with blacked housings. I'm sure he doesn't mind me sharing.

good timing on the poll. My headlights are not only yellowing at an increasingly alarming rate, but they are starting to develop hairline fractures. Tried to take picture of them those don't come out well in the photo.

Anyway, will probably be going down the replacement route soon so having the phots as a reference is great.

Here are my Custom Modified Gen 2 BRZ OEM headlights. Had them blacked out except the boomerang + turn signal LEDs. (I'm tied with VLAND for my vote)
