Yes it is. Great option for a DD.
Unless you know for certain the exact history. And haven’t done already.
I would do SC oil change for sure
And probably new serpentine belt.
both quick and cheap.

What size SC pulley is on it?

A new wider and larger diameter idler pulley could be another good option to insure belt doesn’t slip or hop off the idler.

As always spot on recommendations. With e85 and a smaller pulley this kit is great for street, auto-x and back roads. Plenty of power, bell curve power curve and just a blast to drive. Can't forget the noises it makes

You should get the MAF scaling changed.

Yes, it changes the airflow over the sensor quite a bit.

You'll get the most whine if you're able to replace the plastic intake post Perrin intake but I don't know of any companies that make one. Nameless made a super small batch but I'm not parting with mine unless I part out my car which I've been considering but may not be until next year when I have a garage to do it in.

Innovate made a handful, Nameless made a handful, otherwise someone will have to fabricate their own. I tried for two years to find one lol.

While my charger was in for service I swapped my PCV valve over to the STi piece that's recommended elsewhere on the forums. At the same time I added a Racer X dual catch can - one on the breather line, one on the PCV. Now if I coast down in gear from high rpm I get a strong burnt oil smell whereas before there was no smell. Anybody have an idea where to start tracking this down?

Just did a bunch of mods/ work on my car updated build thread. But while I was doing it I pulled my blower/manifold off to access the rear AC compressor bolt. Based on “markings” on the engine intake ports once removed it looked like i might of had some minor boost leaks, kind of weird since I was making a solid 12.5psi at 7k rpm. But decided to put a very thin layer of permatek anaerobic gasket maker on the mating surface just to be safe. i also thought i might of had a tiny leak at my pcv side catch can so just to make sure i put some thread tape on it.
Got her put back together went for a rip. In 82F my mechanical boost gauge was reading almost 14psi now, at least 13.5psi. I’m going to film it later to play back just to verify.
Very possible I fixed some minor leaks i had and maybe my WMI is giving me that extra 1-1.5psi once the water evaporates. Rear end is all over the place in 1st with 255s mps a/s 3+ tire.

anyone ever port/polish the manifold or the portion going to the blower after the TB?

I know someone posted something about modifying the IC to be less of a restriction?
