Car has been dropped off at 242 Customs for body kit install and paint. Also bumped into Aimforapex at Cars and Coffee and he gave us a free photoshoot!
Also found out that my release bearing is starting to give at only 29,000km which is great. Last edited by Route; 06-07-2018 at 10:59 AM. |

Little details. I got titanium nuts for the TRD strut bar and titanium license plate bolts from TiBurnt. Finally got Toyota badges to get rid of the horrid Scion badges.

TRD kit has been paint matched and installed. Also got to install my titanium hardware since I dropped one of the original TRD strut bar nuts.

Definitely not a good feeling but it still looks good. Pictures don't do it justice.

My local Toyota dealership over nighted the OEM window deflectors they sell for the new 86's. I like it.

Finally got the car tinted with 20% all around. Deleted the brake light to make it easier for the people who tinted it and prepare the car for the 4th brake light.
Changed majority of the lights to LED and it looks way better. Best $30 I've spent. Also finally reached 30,000KM (18,600 miles for you Americans) on the odometer... Car is starting to feel old.

My phone photos never did the car any justice. It's nice having photographer friends willing to give you free photoshoots.
Recently ordered a TRD sunshade since my shift knob is always burning my hand, and going to be ordering the Verus shift fork + pivot when I get my release bearing fixed.

TRD sunshade just came in. Quality is amazing but the shade itself is quite thin and not reflective so I'm curious to see how this performs.
Update: Saved my life. Went from hand scorching titanium shift knob to Chinese airline water temperature shift knob.
