Just closer to the same front and back for a more neutral feel in corners.
The spring rates are different, Toyota went for a looser backend. I changed the springs on my car early in its life.. both will kick out if provoked.

The twins stick to the road better than most cars.
Those others go around, fine, fine, fine, OMG I'm spinning in circles!!!!

Twins will give enough notice with a little slip that you can put it back in the box without going full hatstand.

Didn't drift this. Could have, but I'd just had lunch.

If you want peruvian marching powder, I can't help you with that.

Pastrami and wasabi on rye seems to be adequate for this section.

These cars perform great, only 'drift' when you tell them to.
My brz has some suspension upgrades, but is the best handling and most forgiving car I've ever owned.

There a reason why I keep coming back this platform, there is just so much you get from these cars that you can't get anywhere without spending more money. (Except power of course)

So true, but I think what you get most is smiles. Despite the low power the car is pure fun, like a go kart. Just stop thinking straight line and start thinking twisties and there is plenty of power. And get those revs up..

This car was originally designed for the track with a Porsche selected as a performance benchmark for handling. It was not intentionally designed for drifting. Its ability to drift is simply a side-effect of being a light, well-balanced RWD car, and the engineers made that easier where they could as part of the marketing bullshit to tie it to the AE86.

If you go out to track day, you'll see most of these cars not drifting. If you go on organized drives on canyon roads, very few of them drift the hairpin turns, and there are often photographers standing by to get video of those few idiots wiping out. While I appreciate the skill and vehicle control of the professional drift drivers, when I was growing up that was considered "doing it wrong."

So don't worry if you don't drive that way. Put some sticky performance tires on it instead and enjoy taking curves like you're on rails.

I tried to race this car instead of drifting. It retaliated by blowing up the motor. Can only drive it sideways now.
