Just go back in and complain, if they wont replace the part contact Toyota/Subaru corporate.

No car or part is supposed to sound like this. They may not care about you, but they care about word of mouth. Show them the problem, be professional, state how irritating and unacceptable it is that out of the thousands of cars produced - why can the company not get a fuel pump to be more quiet than the motor.

They will take care of you.

Guys just put shell v power in your car

I used to always use shell v power then I wanted to try something else and after I did that, i started to have the crickets.

I then decided to switch back to v power and ever since I've been chirp free

Used the shell 93 around the corner most of the summer. Chirped like a bastard.

Your shell v power is not everyone elses shell vpower. Look into how fuel is actually purchased and acquired by stations.

Yeah I think that plays a huge role

In my case I've been always going to the same gas station

And I've been lucky so far with no ethanol

Can someone send Toyota HQ a screen shot and link of the survey at the start of this thread? Someone with a brain might see it and initiate a solution?

Ethanol free is why you are chirp free. Doesn't always work though.
