I vote for stupid.

Wish I could go to Buttonwillow, but unfortunately I'm working.

I thought I saw your car out there, but when I went by later, I didn't see anyone near the car. Sorry I missed you. I think I got a pic of you in-line for the start of a session though. Did you snag #86?

Fresno SCCA event #13 at ATWATER in the former Castle AFB complex.

THIS SUNDAY!

I will be there to run in the morning. Most likely I will run in the OSP class so that I can work/watch for the first run group, then run, and be home in the afternoon.

I'm probably going to be out there too, but not running the car. Well... at least I keep telling myself that.

I will be going. I'm running in the afternoon though. I'm working the night before and don't get off until 0730, so afternoon it is!

Has anyone done a route like this or been to Paicines Resorvoir? Im going to be home next weekend for the 1st time in about 4 months & I was thinking about taking a drive on Sat/Sunday morning perhaps. Ive been towards Yosemite always but Im always curious as to exactly whats on the coastal mountain range side.. If anyone wants to go exploring with me,or has another suggested route in the area +/-100 miles post it up..

I recall driving that area (hwy 25-panoche rd.-I5), expect it to be very similar to Mines rd: long sweepers (there was one I swear just went forever, should give you a nice long steady lateral G) some sections of nice, smooth, new asphalt, but mostly rough, worn roads with quite a few potholes. Most of them are "repaired" but I'd be careful, since it seems like alot of those holes were overfilled, turning them into invisible bumps (I've bottomed out on a couple of them. The reservoir is tiny (I vaguely remember going "this is it?") and there is no town in Paicines, just a general store, I'd fill up before heading that way. Have fun
