At least it hit the windshield. I had that happen on a rental car once and it knocked a huge dent in the a-pillar.

When I worked at the GM Proving Grounds, we would leave a vehicle parked and still on flat pavement for 24 hours after replacing a windshield. The glued-in glass is part of the vehicle's structure, so leaving it alone while the adhesive cures is recommended (if you have the luxury). |
