As standard it's set to 0.7, so I guess this is too. It's set in the tune to do it.

First drives with E85, how does this look?
I've got a 2015 BRZ with Borla UEL catless headers and a Manzo Catback. This week I decided to go the E85 route & was very pleased with the hp gain, but I worry about the safety of the engine. I have used the off the shelf tune with OpenFlash for stage 2 E85 and have only put about 60 miles on the car since. I just need help reading these data logs because tbh I have no idea what I'm looking at. All I want to know is if everything looks as it should. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm wondering if my fuel trim is a bit high? I'm on E85, injen intakes, and borla EL. I'm tuned using the OFT E85 Stage2+

The theory is that it's safer, but if you have a tunes specifically for your setup then you shouldn't see much deviation from IAM of 1 and therefore it would be fine to use that as the default.

hello,
My tuner said that my wastegate pressure is 9 psi naturally. From what I'm looking at it shows about 8psi. I'm looking at Manifold Absolute Pressure. Am i looking at the wrong parameter? https://datazap.me/u/bboyairrick/boo...13-21-54-87-88 |

@Kodename47 and @steve99 hope to get a few minutes of your time. Got my first few logs done with WOTs back to back and some town driving. Any thoughts on it, or anything out of the ordinary?
WOT: https://datazap.me/u/compelica/wot-w...&data=17-20-32 Town driving: https://datazap.me/u/compelica/wayne...?log=0&data=17 First thing I notice is that I'm getting consistent timing pulls at around 5K rpm on WOT. Still learning at this, but instead of pulling timing from Base Timing B table, is there anything I could do to reduce knock at that area? Will try other fuel brands first but wanted to see if there's anything that I can understand on how to fix it. |

knock you can add fuel , reduce timng and maybe run more direct injection. You already down in high 11 afr so maybe reduce timing amd try running more di injection. Or find better fuel |

I notice that the common answer to fix knock is to always reduce timing to solve it. Now I do get however that reducing timing is a sure fix but would that be less performant which is counterproductive on maximising performance for a given target fuel and mods. If stock roms are going rich to 10 AFR surely adding fuel to knocky areas would be a better solution? Or... is it because adding fuel complicates things versus just dropping timing? Appreciate it |

10 afr is way to rich for max power its to save cats in header max popwer is theroeticly 12.5 on petrol but poorer quality fuels or high compression engines its more like high 11 to low 12. Its a balancing act between ignition timong amd afr, richer ie below 12.5 looses power and more timong increases power untill you get to MBT which you almpst never do on petrol so your jist knock limited |
