Also the metal strip that bolts along the top of the bumper cover, so there's tension drawing the bumper into position.
Trust me.... it's not an alignment issue.

I dont mean the whole bumper, but aiming the tabs properly into the slot.

Still, I can see that they will pop out a bit but most people wouldn't even notice it.

Poor armadillo. Great news for the bumper release.

If the original complaint was made before out of warranty you still have avenues you can use.
If still no way then take it to any good body shop. I bet they can fix it up better than new for $100.

BTW if you come near an armadillo, don't touch it. They carry mycobacyerium lepraie, the cause of Hansen's disease (Leprosy).

Thing with me is that the gap makes me feel like the car has been in a accident or something... but it is new. ;(

I was actually impressed with how well and easily the bumper went back on after removing mine. Line up the clips with the holes, good push and it all clicked together like lego. My previous car, Audi A6, had a million bolts and clips holding the bumper on and it never went on right.

Like others have mentionned; a good body shop will be able to fix that for 1hr labor (60 - 100 bucks)

The bumper gap drives me crazy as well. Made me regret getting the winjet headlights.

I don't recommend these. You can achieve the same thing with these http://www.quik-latch.com/

Half the price. There is a thread around here somewhere that shows how its done.

i run a body shop and i still cant get my own bumper to stay without slowly pulling away in that spot. new headlight retaining brackets and new fender/bumper brackets didn't really do anything. it seems to be the downforce on the front bumper pulling that area of the bumper down and out. mine was almost all the way popped out after a pass at the track (133mph). best solution we have found (designed by another forum member) is to attach the lower black plastic tray to the crash bar to keep it from pulling down under force. if that lower tray stays put and doesn't flex, it wont pull the whole bumper down with it
