I'm thinking about having a similar design as last time, but with some stitching painted on (like the fabric wrapped ones) that fades in and out. Also with some of the carbon as the night sky. If the scene is blended evenly and clear coated, I think it will look awesome. I have been working with an amazing local artist on a few different projects... We will see what they think about my idea.

Pics to come.
I had to make hats for my rear coils to retain my socks. Let me know if you need the model

Yes, please. I am curious on what you did. I have two on the front now. (from another project...) Water still comes through the top hat....

Thank you!

It's just a skirt that the spring seats inside and sock can grip on the outside

Wow, I'm not sure what I was expecting... But those are a beautiful solution!

Pm me your email and I'll send you that model this evening. You can probably 3d print them but obviously a machined option is "better". Not sure how well plastic would hold up to being compressed by the weight of the car

Used a random orbital sander to take out minor glazing on the rotors and brake pads. Brake is smooth, effective, and quiet again.

On the other hand, 2nd time it happened yesterday that I had to crank the engine for a good 10-15 secs before it catches. Anyone had similar experience?

Ten seconds is an awfully long time. Are you absolutely sure? I get a hiccup maybe a couple times a year where I have to crank for a few seconds.

That's pretty awesome! Perfect to hide all your belongings in!

No.

Does your car show any codes?

Have you refueled lately?

The only shopping I did was on Safelite's website. Quote was $499.99 on line. A local forum member recommended Spider. $280 sounded great.

New windshield looks good. No issues with Spider Glass. Took 2 hours. They say first chip repair is on them, if I need one. $280 out the door. Nice!

Thanks for asking,
no codes
re fuel, the two times happened with different tank of gas and i never fill with non first tier gas. I did have some 100+ oct gas recently from Laguna seca and the last tank was mixture of half 91 half 101. Indeed, the first times that it happened, i believe, was the 2nd morning of track event, which would have been 100% 100 oct ( 100oct is called for JRSC'ed car at track ) So good point. Now that it's back to full 91, i shall keep an eye to see if that happens again.

Thanks

Yes am sure. first crank was about 5 secs, off ignition, give it 10-15 secs and cranked for 2nd time, this time I kept at it until about 10+ seconds and it started to have some reaction, and another 1-2 secs til it actually started.

it felt as if there's no fuel, as the starter cranks consistently through out so battery was good and stable, it just didn't fire. Both times happened after sitting overnight, probably around 50s F temperature wise.

turn the key to ON, wait 3 seconds to allow the fuel pump to fully prime, then turn the key to fire the starter.
