Cheap and extremely reliable. I had a C5Z.

As far as the new C8.... I love the exterior and most of the interior. The strip of buttons, idk....I think I could live with it. The slanted floating tablet.....WHY!?!?!?!?!? Its even more obnoxious than the supra or current crop of mazdas. GTFOH with that.

I have always stated that GM Performance's engineers are second to none and this continues their history of building world beaters at a fraction of the price. GM has re-wrote automotive history again with the C8 and I have put my Supra plans on hold.
This was my thought too. This will be a Supra killer. I think the Supra looks WAY better than the C8 though.

I'll say! Took 40 years of R&D to get there but when they did it they really did it. They must plan on selling a shitload of them at that price point.

This should drive down the C7 prices even lower!!
The price of the LT2 surprized me as well! Even if it doesn't get great reviews by popular car magazines, the price alone should lure new & returning buyers. After all, how many people honestly drive Corvettes like they're supposed to!? This will be the everyman's American exotic. Hopefully they won't become too commonplace

If I can ever accept my sports car only having 2 pedals, this might be the replacement for my Cayman one day.

Im liking this.
Theres a few elements I don't like but every car has that.

C7 was the first corvette I actually liked and this C8 looks to continue that.
They're starting to look like they're punching above its weight class.

Heck, they’re already offering $12k off at my local dealer. If they get much lower I may have to take the plunge. Although it would be hard to turn down the Supra or the C8.

Hoping that this will put a lot of pressure on FCA SRT...
I still can't get over what an exotic masterpiece the Viper ACR is, and will always be!

Liking the appearance of the two cars is subjective. While I am not enamored with the rear of the C8, I really dislike the looks of the Supra from the top of the windshield back; especially the rear fenders and the view from the back. Of course, at this point, I have not seen either car in person so that opinion may change when I do.

I bought my C6 with 14K on the clock, sold it with 125K. Put a water pump, a harmonic balancer and a couple of batteries in it,,, that's it.

My C7 has 50K on it now. No issues yet.

I was looking at Grand Sports yesterday. Such a deal and I do think the prices will drop more. On the other hand,,, wait a couple of years for a C8 instead.

There's a handful of exotic masterpieces at $150k +.

Not many landing below $60k. This is a game changer.

kinda misleading. according to GM it does 0-60 <3sec with the Z51 Performance Package. but i really like the interior. the Zupra's interior looks bland and boring when compared to the C8.

GM press release.

yup, GM usually sells like 20-30k units a year. one of the draw backs of any Vette. they're going to be a dime in a dozen.

Well thankfully it looks better than those god-awful renders. The rear is problematic but it is just a set of lowering springs and rims away from looking just about perfect.

Sad that there won’t be a manual though. First the GT500, then the Supra, now this. It’s going extinct faster than anticipated
