This corner is curious. Looks like there is a hole in the top. Something pulled out to the right? This needs to be solved

I thought it could be some sunglass holder but not really, as for dvd I doubt since is quite flimsy. Going to gaing access behind it sometime today and see what is hidden under.

So annoying dealing with stuff that was previosly fitted before I bought it

it had to be something of value. A sunglasses holder wouldn't cost enough to bother removing. Aftermarket satellite radio?

Maybe the headliner was damaged and this was an attempt at repairing/hiding something, um, unattractive?

did the car come with any mods?

i want to say i've seen some aftermarket radio's offer a remote control recess like that, but can't place the age/brand/model enough to even attempt to google results

Everything you can think of, already spent 1.5 year fixing and tiding everything, when I installed my new headunit my friend who`s an autoeletrician told there were 2-3 different harness shoved inside. The unit we removed had a little controler but nothing that would fit there.

Would you have like a picture or anything? my next step is to find how to close this damn hole or cover.

I hardly believe so, it was installed `properly` I`d say, problem now is finding how to cover or any use for it. Might start thinking 3d print again
