Engine rattle on acceleration
Hi, today I noticed a rattle sound coming from my engine when accelerating. It doesn’t seem to always happen but I noticed it immediately this morning. Specifically sounds like a rattle, not a knock- kind of comparable to the sound you get if you ran a stick along metal chicken wire fencing
NVM can't delete but pretty sure I found my issue, which was that I remove my spare tyre but kept that bolt in that holds it in place with that metal plate that goes over the wheel and pretty sure that was rattling around from the exhaust vibrations. Only did 1 quick acceleration after removing it but 80% sure that's what the sound was :/ Why I only just heard it now, 3 days since removing my spare wheel I can't explain Last edited by Sam86; 10-05-2020 at 03:25 AM. |
