I knew a couple in los Gatos that practically had to tear their house down because of black mold. A cabinet installer put a nail into a water line that slowly leaked for years. The family was in bad health and didn't know why. Total nightmare.

People will take anything not nailed down.

I had a couple of cathead cobbles stacked at the end of my driveway.
Somebody filched them.

Some do. Some don't. All depends on how much they paid attention in school. I pretty much spell everything the proper way. Well as much as I spell anything properly when not paying attention to what I actually wrote.

Do we go back to calling it the King's English now? Sometimes I use the proper spelling if I know my audience, like you guys for instance.

Nope. They got knocked over by snowplows, birds and cyclones all the time.
Maybe the grays beamed them out of existence, but I'm betting NowIMBYs
