First time I've ever been to Crow's Landing and an autocross course that almost reached redline in 3rd I messed up badly on my first run and I couldn't find anyone that I could take a ride with. Except for Gran Turismo Academy Winner Bryan Heitkotter

I love the Crows Landing surface. There's sooooo much space and it's grippy!

Remember to pre-register (link below) to pay $40 instead of the onsite $50 price. If you're not an SCCA member you will need to purchase a $15 weekend membership, which you can then apply that $15 to the annual membership.

sweet! back when i first started auto crossing, Bryan was just a kid driving his old '87 MR2 all the way from Fresno to come out to the SFR SCCA events. But even then he kicked my ass. He just had that natural talent. Once I saw how fast he could drive, I did the same thing you did -- I asked him to drive my brand new MR2 Spyder at an event and rode along. It was probably too much to soak in, in terms of a learning experience, but it was great to see someone good push the car to its limits.

I ran the exact same time twice on Saturday... then settle on 2nd run Sunday for being greedy...
