Lost front camber after T2 install?

Hi everyone - looking for ideas and if anyone else has experienced this issue:

Car with OEM suspension and Raceseng CC plates was at -2.5 camber. We removed the OE pieces and installed the RCE Tarmac 2’s and lowered the car 13mm. We then began to work on the alignment and realized the max camber we could get was -1.

We were expecting equal or more negative camber after installing the T2’s and lowering the car. Very surprised that we can’t even get close to the previous settings we had pre T2.

Any ideas?

Currently looks like I will be going the adjustable lower front control arm to achieve the desired -3 to -3.5 camber.

You sure the camber plates are installed properly?

Believe so - they match how they were before and what the instructions state.

Do have a message out to Raceseng to see if they have any thoughts.

CC plates are confirmed to be good with the manufacturer.

Next check is the top spindle bolt to ensure it’s pushed all the way in.

Weird, you should be able to get more than that with just camber bolts.

When you install the strut to hub bolts, make sure you press on the top of the brake rotor as you tighten them down. Something does not sound right with the installation.

Definitely an installation error. You can get much more than that even without camber plates.

Message or call if you need to, send pics.

Thank you all! RCE responded to my email as well to check the top bolt. That was it…

We are back in business with the ability to get more negative camber.

(The bad installer was me…ooops!).

Thanks again

Current T2 user (and also for my last several cars) and I just gotta say, this is why I love RCE. You guys spend time in your community, and are available to your users in a way that only a small handful of companies can claim to be.

Anyway, just wanted to acknowledge that and appreciate it. 😎🤙
