Multi Turbo setting profile for the twins ,G25-660 or HKS GT3 RS?

hi everyone , I am very new to the FI modification.

And I had some chat with a local shop regarding the FI setup.
This shop highly recommend me Turbo instead of SC. As Turbo is more potential , and a lots of adjustment and future upgrade can be done. I have no question for that.

The shop also mention that , for the turbo , they can install multi turbo profile setting on the twins. And I can switch different profile mode depend on my mood. Something like the following.

Mode A , very smooth , liner , like a V6 NA.
Mode B , typical turbo setting , get the turbo kick in feeling in mid-rpm
Mode C , can be more aggressive , not so reliable in track , but can be fun for me , if I want to need some additional excitement sometimes.

This kind of flexibility mode make me interesting. Wonder can anyone share the real world experience for this type of setup?

How do you feel about it? Or only have the fun moment in beginning , and stick with only one mode in long term?

Thanks a lot for your feedback.

BTW , the shop let me test drive one low boost turbo car , like 250 WHP , the turbo itself is from a local vendor , not some big name brand , and to my surprising , I don't feel much lag from my imagination , it was like a V6 NA.

The shop now recommend me , G25-660 or HKS GT3 RS for the turbo , and state it don't have much lag , very good performance , great potential for big hp. Currently now I don't need huge power , something like 250 to 280 whp should be fine for me. (I am still take course from some racing coach.)

If you have any experience with the turbo setup above , will be appreciated for your sharing.

Real world setup with multiple maps- you'll use the high power map all the time, and manage power output with the throttle. Unless you're using the car for track duty, this system is a waste for most people.

The HKS turbo setup is great. Garrett turbo are extremely reliable as well, can't really go wrong with either.

I have the G25-550 setup with 2 boost levels 8 and 12. I also have flex fuel. On e85 8lb boost the car is plenty powerful, comes on power early and breaks traction easily(Zestino 255/35/18 07rs). I have done 10 laps of my favorite track,8lb boost only, and did 1second faster than my best for the last 5 laps. First 5 laps scrubbing in the tires and getting a feel for the car again.
On 12lb boost map my car breaks into wheelspin in 3rd gear as boost comes on over 60mph/100kmh.

I'm using a BW EFR7163, but I have (4) maps to choose from. Each introduces a different power level combined with different features. All (4) include an ethanol content analyzer for limiting PSI in 93 vs e85

map 1 - 9psi
Map 2 - 11 psi
Map 3 - 12 psi
map 4 - 14.5 psi w/ FFS / LC

Which kit are you using and how's the piping routed?

Most, I'm interested in how you get such a low wastegate pressure on the G series turbo.

The G25 is hands down my favorite small displacement turbo!

It's not a genuine Garrett, they're using a Pulsar branded turbo in this kit
